Arthur Heinemann, Jr. was born December 12, 1928 at Throop, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Arthur Heinemann, Sr. and Marie Held Heinemann. Known to all his friends as Mike, he passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 80 years of age.

Two sisters: Agnes and Ruth
One brother: Wilbur Heinemann.

His beloved wife, Teresa of the home.
Two sons:

Steven Arthur Heinemann and wife, Naiade of Troy, IL

Robert Alan Heinemann and wfie, Marva of Idabel, OK


Two daughters:


Deborah Ann Heinemann of Barnegat, NJ

Kathleen Agnes Trolinger and husband, Michael Scott of Broken Arrow, OK

Mike is also remembered by numerous other family members and friends.

Mike grew up in Wellsville, New York and attended Wellsville High School and graduated with the class of 1946. After completing high school, he enlisted in the army where he served with the First Calvary as a cartographer in the occupation of Japan following World War II. Upon honorable discharge from the military he continued his education at Oklahoma University, earning a degree in Petroleum Engineering and graduated with the class of 1952.

Mike Heinemann and Teresa Ann Padden were united in marriage on June 21, 1952 at Wellsville, NY. They have celebrated 57 years of marriage. During that time, they have resided in Kansas, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, California, New Jersey and finally Tulsa, Oklahoma.

With the exception of a brief stint in the late 50's when he managed natural gas fields for the Pittsburg Glass Company, Mike was employed his entire career with the Dow Chemical Company in its Dowell, Dow Industrial Services and Dowell Schlumberger divisions. During his nearly 31 year career with Dow he held the positions of Field Engineer, Station Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Region Manager, Division Operations Manager and Division Facilities Development Manager for North America.

Mike attended, with Teresa, St. Benedict Catholic Church in Broken Arrow. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, playing cards, travel and the occasional adult beverage. He will be remembered by all as a good and dependable friend and loving husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather.
